Wolfspeed, NC A&T to seek federal funding for R&D facility in Greensboro
Pent-up development demand in the northeastern Randolph County town of Liberty has gotten some relief: The N.C. Department of Environmental Quality has given approval for the town to add sewer lines.
Wolfspeed and North Carolina A&T plan to seek federal funding for the building of a semiconductor research and development facility at he university’s campus in Greensboro as the two expand an education partnership that’s already designed to help Wolfspeed expand its workforce.
